On September 9th, 2025, at Nice Garden Hotel, Bumba, Caritas Byumba and World Vision Rwanda–Buranga Cluster held a partnership evaluation meeting for the Positive Deviance Hearth (PDH) project, implemented by Caritas Byumba with funding from World Vision International–Rwanda. The discussions focused on three key areas: Communication: Effective communication is at the heart of every successful project. In the implementation of PDH project, Caritas Byumba and World Vision Rwanda have established clear and open channels of communication. Regular meetings, timely reporting, and feedback mechanisms ensure that information flows smoothly between partners and the community. Partnership:The partnership between Caritas Byumba and World Vision Rwanda is built on shared values and a common vision of improving the lives of children and families. This collaboration goes beyond financial support; it is about mutual accountability, respect, and joint commitment to project goals. Caritas brings strong community presence and implementation experience, while World Vision provides technical guidance, resources, and capacity building. Together, this partnership ensures that the projects are not only well-funded but also effectively managed, reaching the most vulnerable children with lasting impact. Collaboration: Through projects between these parties, collaboration has been demonstrated through joint planning sessions, community mobilization activities, and monitoring visits.
