Description
The Bodi Area Program Nutrition Dialogue with Children will cover topics such as children’s understanding of food groups (energy-giving, body-building, and protective foods), the impact of seasonality on food availability, and challenges in daily meals, including reliance on carbohydrates and limited access to protein and vegetables. Activities will include guided discussions, storytelling, and reflections where children share their lived experiences, identify gaps in nourishment, and propose practical solutions such as irrigation farming, school gardens, and improvements to the school feeding programme. The workshop will also explore broader systemic issues like infrastructure and food access, ensuring children’s voices contribute meaningfully to nutrition strategies.
