Description
This is a dialogue between the Pastor, Participants, and Religious Institutions (FL) that aims to:
- Explore the understanding of faith and the church’s calling in responding to hunger and malnutrition as part of holistic ministry to children and families.
- Build a shared understanding of the role of the church and community in ensuring that every child receives adequate nutrition for optimal growth and development.
- Encourage interdenominational collaboration to fulfill Christ’s calling to love every child holistically, both spiritually and through attention to their health and well-being.
Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI), as a Christian humanitarian foundation with a vision of “Every Child,
Life in All Its Fullness” is committed to serving without discrimination. Through the Prayer and Dialogue Against Hunger (Malnutrition) activity—as part of the ENOUGH campaign—church leaders are invited to pray together, share experiences, and discuss the strategic role of the church in preventing malnutrition in the community.
This activity encourages each participant to:
- Become agents of change by integrating child nutrition issues into church services.
- Motivate congregations to care about child nutrition through education and support for families.
- Participate in collaboration with WVI, including the Nutrition Garden initiative and other food security programs.
- Embody the church’s role as a channel of blessing, ensuring that every child can experience God’s love and live a healthy, safe, and life in all its fullness.
