During the three campaign years, World Vision will work with partners and stakeholders including government, I/NGOs, children, faith communities, media and others with a view of ensuring that children get enough nourishing food.
According to reports, Ethiopian children are impacted by 39% of stunting, 11% of wasting, 13% of micronutrient deficiencies and 55 deaths of every 1000 live births. These impacts result from a number of interactive factors including Conflict, COVID 19 aftershocks, rise of cost of living and climate change. Up on the event, major stakeholders will convey key notes but most importantly children will raise critical issues to policy makers and service providers in search of designing effective intervention mechanisms to address child hunger and malnutrition.
