Caritas Staff Byumba started by introduction to Nyakigando HC manager And CHWs
The dialogue was introduced by Brief talk about Caritas Byumba, its partnership with world Vision International/Rwanda and the project they implement in WVR-Akagera cluster
The main Topics of the dialogue:
– Everyone’s responsibilities in Fighting against malnutrition
– Key Messages to give during Households visits to Pregnant and Lactating women and families with under 2 Years Children by teaching them breastfeeding, how prepare balanced Diet and hygiene.
– Malnutrition Screening /Growth Monitoring of Children under 5years
– explaining Reporting Forms that will be used while screening malnutrition and giving messages to families
– Rehabilitations of Malnourished children and Follow up
– Providing accurate Report and on time

– Giving messages to families from Wednesday to Thursday (11-12/12/2024)
– Screening malnutrition to all children under 5 years from Wednesday to Thursday (11-12/12/2024)
