On 28th December 2025, in Katabagemu, Nyagatare District, Caritas Byumba, in partnership with World Vision Rwanda, organized a community sensitization dialogue focusing on infant feeding practices and the fight against malnutrition. These activities were conducted during the Family Day at the level of the Diocese of Byumba, highlighting the importance of strong and healthy families. During the event, His Lordship Bishop Papias Musengamana, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Byumba reminded parents of their responsibility to protect and strengthen their families by ensuring proper nutrition for children and by preventing family conflicts, emphasizing that a healthy family is the foundation of a healthy society.
