The Children’s Workshop focused on understanding nutrition and healthy eating practices, identifying challenges affecting child nutrition such as poverty, high food prices, limited food variety, and lack of nutrition knowledge, and gathering children’s recommendations for improving nutrition in their communities. Activities included interactive discussions, sharing personal experiences, exploring child-centred solutions to malnutrition and food insecurity, and identifying actions children can take to improve their own nutrition, including eating balanced diets, consuming fruits and vegetables, and practicing good hygiene. The workshop also provided a platform for children to contribute their views and recommendations to inform nutrition policies and investments.
