- Importance of exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life and its benefits for child growth, development, immunity and survival.
- Common barriers to exclusive breastfeeding and how families, communities and health workers can support breastfeeding mothers.
- Understanding complementary feeding, including the recommended age for introduction (from 6 months) and the importance of continued breastfeeding up to two years and beyond.
