Description
- The workshop will cover several key topics to educate and engage children in improving nutrition in their communities. Understanding Nutrition will focus on the basics of a balanced diet and the impact of malnutrition, helping children grasp essential concepts about healthy eating. Challenges in Nutrition will address local issues such as food insecurity and lack of clean water, providing context on the obstacles their community faces. Creative Solutions will explore innovative ideas like community gardens and nutrition education programs, encouraging children to think of practical ways to enhance nutrition. Finally, Advocacy and Involvement will discuss how children can advocate for better nutrition and involve the community, empowering them to take an active role in promoting healthy eating habits.
The activities planned for the workshop are designed to be interactive and engaging. Interactive Presentations will offer engaging talks on nutrition concepts and challenges, ensuring that children understand the material. Group Discussions will provide opportunities for brainstorming and sharing ideas in small groups, fostering collaboration and creativity.
