During the celebrations to mark the International World Food Day in Nyamasheke district of Rwanda, World Vision Rwanda working with Government of Rwanda, UN agencies, other International and local organizations including children, parents and communities were involved in cooking demonstration working with community health workers, parents and children to teach about preparations of nutritious meals for families and children.
Planting of food trees in which WV Rwanda National Director and ENOUGH Campaign brand Ambassador Rwandan gospel singer, Israel Mbonyi joined the communities and all stakeholders to message and call upon communities across Rwanda to end child malnutrition among children by ensuring that children are well nourished and call on communities to work towards ensuring food security for all Rwandan families.
Celebrated Rwandan gospel singer, Israel Mbonyi, also serving as World Vision Rwanda’s ENOUGH Campaign Brand Ambassador, joined other stakeholders to feed children during #WorldFoodDay celebrations in Nyamasheke district The #ENOUGH Campaign vision is a world where every child enjoys enough nourishing food so they can thrive.
