This Dialogue was part of a Training-for-Facilitators on “Nutrition-for-Health: Embracing our Namibian Food Systems” (www.nafsan.org/n4h) with participants from various Civil Society Organisations, working at grassroots level in Namibia’s Hardap Region. Dialogue participants have a wealth of experience of working in areas of health, education and agriculture, representing a broad spectrum of expertise and community-focused work.

The Dialogue took place at the third day of the workshop, after participants completed the 2-day participatory Nutrition-for-Health training, which provided them with essential knowledge and a comprehensive overview of key nutrition-related aspects.

Hence, the dialogue is expected to surface some of the very real nutrition-related challenges that communities in the south of Namibia are facing, as well as some of the opportunities and solutions that may already start to emerge.
