France will host the next Nutrition for Growth summit in Paris on March 27 and 28, 2025.
This summit is aimed at mobilizing the international community, particularly private sector and civil society actors, around the issue of nutrition in order to reach the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN’s 2030 Agenda.
The problems of malnutrition – malnourishment, dietary deficiencies, overweight and obesity – are growing worse worldwide.
France is responding to this major problem by continuing its efforts, through its international strategy on food security, nutrition and sustainable agriculture (2019-2024) and through concrete actions, to improve nutrition for vulnerable populations. These include food aid; the Muskoka Initiative on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health; and efforts by the French Development Agency in the health, agriculture, water, hygiene and sanitation sectors.
On 27 and 28 March 2025, France will host the next #Nutrition for Growth Summit in Paris. We will mobilise the international community in support of nutrition in order to achieve the sustainable development goals set out in the United Nations Agenda 2030.
